East African Law Journals List

The East Africa Law Journals List is a catalogue of print and online Law Journals originating from a wide base of Law Schools and publishers in East Africa.

This database provides an insight into law journal publishing in East Africa. It is important to potential contributors and readers alike.

This initiative is part of the commitment of Cardiff’s Centre for Law and Global Justice to engage with scholarship on and originating in the global south. It is led by Smith Ouma, doctoral researcher in the Centre.

We are committed to providing more visibility to the journals that play host to this scholarship and offering them support in their role of knowledge production.

The information on this page will be updated periodically to reflect any changes that may arise regarding the publications in this list or on any new journals that may launched. Please get in touch with us at Cardiff Law and Global Justice if you have any additions or amendments to suggest.

We encourage you to make use of this list and to contact the law journals directly for any questions.
