Faith Simiyu

Doctoral Researcher

Faith's research focuses on the right to health and devolved governance under the supervision of Prof. John Harrington and Dr Bernadette Rainey. She is funded by the prestigious Commonwealth Scholarship Commission, UK.

Faith served as Chairperson and Lecturer in the Private Law Department at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology where she taught Health Law. Faith co-founded the law firm of Simiyu, Opondo, Kiranga and Company Advocates (SOKLaw) where she serves as the Partner in charge of legal research and consultancies. She has offered diverse legal advice on Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) to various Organisations including the Network for Youths and Adolescents of Africa (NAYA).
